Raipur, 25th April. Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Sunday inaugurated the All-India Administrative Conference for Administrators, Executives and Managers at Shanti Sarovar of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalay in Raipur.
The conference on ‘Spirituality for Excellence in Administration’ was organised by the Administrative Services Division of Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation under the project from Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to Swarnim Bharat Ki Oor.
In her address, Governor Uikey said that this

conference for the administrative officers and managers will definitely guide them. Administrator is the axis of governance. The more efficient, responsive, hardworking and honest the administrator, the more responsible and competent the administration will be.
She said that there is a general perception that the present administrative system is not living up to the aspirations of the people and there is dissatisfaction among the people about the system. One of the main reasons for this is believed to be the lack of moral and human values. To make the administration efficient, moral and human values, spiritual knowledge and positive thoughts have to be made a part of the administrative system, so that they give the highest priority to the interest of the people and the country.
Governor Uikey said that better implementation of public welfare policies will enable the development of the society and the country. In such a situation, if the administrator has human values like sensitivity, compassion and goodwill, then they can easily remove the problems of the people and instill happiness in them. She said that you will be able to become a successful administrator only when you have compassion, affection and respect in your mind. People need to be able to speak freely to you in order to get a solution to their problem. People come to the administrative authorities with very small problems. The only requirement is that you talk to them, listen to their problems and help them from the rule-compliant decision. This will increase the satisfactoriness of the administrator among the people.
Governor Uikey, while sharing her experience of the work done while holding various important positions, said that we should help the people with our rights. While being in important bodies like the National Commission for Women, the National Tribal Commission, I had the opportunity to travel all over the country to get justice for women and the underprivileged. These actions gave me a sense of complacency and immense affection from the people. That is why I always say that the administrator should be humble, the Governor said.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while addressing the conference said that balance of body and mind is essential for life. When the mind is balanced, there will be no turmoil in our thoughts. The mind will remain calm, our work capacity will increase, which will be good for our self, family and society. He said that our sages have shown the path of spirituality and meditation to the mind after thousands of years of research. He urged the assembly to take time out for the balance of body and mind and adopt the path of spirituality and meditation.
On the occasion, a photograph was presented as a gift to Governor Uike by Prajapita Brahma kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya.
