New Delhi, 18th Aug: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday chaired a high-level meeting to deliberate on a roadmap for Next-Generation Reforms. The reforms are aimed at enhancing Ease of Living, improving Ease of Doing Business, and fostering inclusive prosperity.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to this agenda, stating, “Chaired a meeting to discuss the roadmap for Next-Generation Reforms. We are committed to speedy reforms across all sectors, which will boost Ease of Living, Ease of Doing Business and prosperity.”

The meeting comes in the wake of the Prime Minister’s recent Independence Day address where he had announced the formation of a task force for ‘next-generation reforms’ and a revision of GST laws. The government’s focus is on simplifying, rationalizing, digitizing, and decriminalizing government processes to benefit citizens and businesses alike.
