Pithoragarh,23rf May. Uttarakhand chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that the state will soon come out from clutches of the Covid 19 virus and it is due to measures taken by the state government the infection numbers are coming down rapidly.
Talking to reporters in Bageshwar, where he reached on his first leg of visits of three Kumaon districts of Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Champawat, the chief minister said that to combat the rapidly spreading Covid cases in villages the surveillance committees constituted by the government are being strengthened and villages are being provided with Covid kits along with it more testing and awareness campaigns are being run in the state .” We have also ordered to fill the vacant posts in health department through outsourcing.” said the chief minister.
The chief minister later visited Covid care centre wearing Covid PPE kit and assured every possible assistance to the patients under treatment there.
“We have a sufficient number of remdesivir and other related medicines and are ready to purchase anything required to combat the epidemic in the state without any delay. “said the chief minister.
