New Delhi, 1st July: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi today to discuss the state’s development and a range of key issues. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) confirmed the meeting in a post on X, stating, “CM of Chhattisgarh, Shri @vishnudsai met Prime Minister @narendramodi.”
During the meeting, the Chief Minister provided an update on the state’s “Anjor Vision @2047,” a development roadmap designed to align Chhattisgarh’s growth with the national goal of a developed India. The discussions covered various sectors, including infrastructure, industries, and tourism, with a particular focus on transforming Naxal-affected areas like Bastar into hubs of growth.
Sai also extended a formal invitation to the Prime Minister to be the chief guest at the state’s “Amrit Rajat Mahotsav” on November 1, 2025, which marks the 25th anniversary of Chhattisgarh’s formation.
The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s successful anti-Naxal strategy, which combines security force efforts with development projects and public participation. He briefed the Prime Minister on the progress made in addressing Maoist influence and strengthening infrastructure in previously neglected regions. The meeting also touched upon new industrial policies, women’s empowerment initiatives, and ongoing reforms in education and justice.
