Hisar, 16th Aug: In a major development, a 2,500-page chargesheet has been filed against YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra for allegedly spying for Pakistan. The chargesheet, filed after a three-month investigation by Hisar Police, claims that concrete evidence has been found to establish her role as a spy.

Malhotra, also known as Jyoti Rani, who ran a YouTube travel account, was arrested in May from Haryana’s Hisar. She is accused of being in contact with Ehsan-ur-Rahim, an official at the Pakistan High Commission, and several ISI agents. Rahim was declared “persona non grata” and expelled from India in May following the Pahalgam terror attack and “Operation Sindoor,” which was a retaliatory strike by India.

According to police sources, the chargesheet details Malhotra’s extensive travel history. She reportedly went to Pakistan in April and returned in May, and then traveled to China and Nepal. During her visit to Pakistan, she allegedly met and interviewed Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who is the current Chief Minister of Pakistan’s Punjab province.

While she was in contact with officials, a Haryana officer clarified that she did not have direct access to any sensitive military information.
