Celebrating Inspirational Women: Lions Club Delhi Veg Hosts Women Prestige Awards 2024

New Delhi, 5th Feb. Lions Club Delhi Veg, in collaboration with the Indo Myanmar Friendship Association and Nari Shakti – Ek Nayi Pahal Foundation, on Sunday hosted the 4th Edition of Women Prestige Awards 2024.
The event, held at the Embassy of Myanmar, served as a platform to honor and celebrate extraordinary women who have made significant contributions in various fields.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including the Chief Guest, His Excellency Mr. Moe Kyaw Aung, Ambassador of Myanmar, and Special Guests, diplomats from the Embassies of Russia, Angola, Palestine, and His Excellency Mr. KL Ganju, (H) Council General of Union of Comoros. Notable personalities Acharya Lokesh Muni and Former CP of Delhi, Mr. Rakesh Asthana, added to the event’s grandeur as special guests.
A total of 121 women hailing from diverse backgrounds and regions, such as India, Vietnam, Russia, Myanmar, and Korea, were felicitated for their outstanding achievements.
Lion Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Charter President of Lions Club Delhi Veg, joined the distinguished guests in presenting awards to deserving recipients.
The event acknowledged women excelling in fields like entrepreneurship, NGO work, business, teaching, journalism, diplomacy, fashion, healthcare, legal, consultancy, and jewelry, among others.
Some of the notable awardees were Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Executive Chairperson of Religare Group, Dr. Rama Pandey, Prof Lata, Dr. Kiran, Ms. Safeina Joseph, and Ms. Tin Tin.
