BRO clears snow from the migratory route of tribal villagers in remote border district

Pithoragarh, 8th May. Tribal villagers, on way to their summer migration to their respective villages in Vyas valley of himalayan region have heaved a sigh of relief as the Border roads organization has opened the blocked road at Chiyalekh, facilitating villagers to cross over to their respective villagers with their animal herds.

“Besides the 7 villages of Vyas valley, the road is also being used by SSB, ITBP, and army, forces dep liye at security posts at Indo-China and Indo Nepal border along the valley. With opening of road, that had blocked at one of 25 Sharp bends of the  Chiyalekh ridge will facilitate the Security personnel’s and provide them easy access to the remote border areas.”said Sanam Devi, gram pradhan of Nabi village at indo china Border.
