BJP’s Vishnu Mittal Conducts Intensive Public Outreach in Delhi’s Slum Areas
Delhi BJP General Secretary visits Ashok Vihar settlements, highlights Modi government’s welfare initiatives

New Delhi, 9th Nov: Delhi BJP General Secretary Vishnu Mittal conducted an extensive public outreach campaign on Sunday across several slum clusters in the Ashok Vihar ward ahead of the upcoming municipal elections.
During his visit, Mittal interacted with local residents and informed them about various welfare schemes launched under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He emphasised the government’s commitment to improving the lives of the poor and underprivileged through development-oriented policies.
As part of his tour, Mittal also visited the Swabhimaan Apartments, constructed under the Prime Minister’s housing initiative for slum dwellers. Expressing satisfaction after the visit, he said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has not only provided permanent homes to slum residents but has also restored their dignity and self-respect.”
Mittal further inspected the Ayushman Arogya Mandirs established under the BJP’s “double-engine government” led by Modi at the Centre and Rekha Gupta in Delhi. He noted that the BJP government remains deeply committed to uplifting the lives of the poor and ensuring access to quality healthcare and housing.
Residents of the slum areas welcomed Mittal warmly and expressed their confidence in supporting the BJP in the forthcoming elections.
The outreach programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and was deemed highly successful from a public engagement perspective. Mittal was accompanied by several local BJP office-bearers and party workers, with a large number of slum residents attending the event.
