Tarn Taran, 2nd Nov: As part of the ongoing Punjab municipal elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Mahila Morcha intensified its campaign in Tarn Taran Sahib. Under the leadership of Punjab Mahila Morcha President Biba Jai Inder Kaur, the women’s wing carried out a door-to-door campaign in Muradpur village’s Wards 8 and 9.
The campaign was organised by Mohali Mahila Morcha President Milli Garg, who was accompanied by local councillor Ramesh Ji, his wife Neha Ji, and several women members of the party. The team urged residents to extend their support to BJP candidate Sardar Harjit Singh Sandhu in the upcoming civic body polls.

During the outreach, the women’s wing interacted with locals, highlighting the BJP’s vision for development, transparency, and empowerment at the grassroots level. Jai Inder Kaur emphasised the importance of women’s participation in strengthening urban governance and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to inclusive growth in Punjab.
