New Delhi, 9th Jan. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with BJP National President JP Nadda and Union Minister Amit Shah taking the lead in preparations.
According to a reliable source within the party, there will be a weekly meeting of National General Secretaries every Tuesday to strategize for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The party will also soon announce the appointment of leaders in charge of different states.
Sources have revealed that the party has assigned its top leaders to oversee groups or initiatives that are considered crucial for victory. The BJP has reorganized the Morcha Prabharis, and separate groups have been formed for beneficiaries (Labarthis).
A dedicated committee has also been established to handle new members joining the party before the elections.
According to sources, Tarun Chugh, the national general secretary, has been appointed as the Prabhari for the Mahila self-help group and NGO.
The committee for the four castes (Poor, farmers, youth, and women) and the respective in-charges can be associated with the Morcha Prabharis. Tarun Chugh and Vinod Tawde have been assigned the responsibility for the Poor – SC/OBC group, Baijayant Jay Panda for Mahila/Mahila Morcha, Sunil Bansal for Yuva/Yuva Morcha, Tarun Chugh for Mahila self-help group, and Sanjay Bandi for Farmers/Kisan Morcha.
Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal will oversee the ST Morcha, Dushyant Gautam will handle the Minority Morcha, and Arvind Menon will be in charge of the Swanidhi scheme.
