New Delhi, 4th March: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday approved four candidates for the upcoming biennial elections to the Rajya Sabha from Maharashtra.
According to a press statement issued by the party’s central office on Wednesday, the BJP has nominated Ramdas Athawale, Vinod Tawde, Maya Chintaman Ivnate and Ramrao Wadkute for the Rajya Sabha elections.
The announcement was made through a press release issued by BJP National General Secretary and headquarters in-charge Arun Singh.
The nominations come ahead of the biennial Rajya Sabha elections scheduled this year, as political parties finalize their candidates to fill seats falling vacant in the Upper House of Parliament.
