Talking to reporters, Baijayant Jay Panda said that an awareness campaign is being carried out among the people by BJP workers to take the booster dose and camps are also being set up for the same. At the same time, facilities are being provided to those who administer the booster dose.

Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for crossing the 200-crore vaccination mark, he said that the Modi government has launched a campaign of free vaccination and has played a key role in saving lives of people. PM Modi’s expansive thinking is the reason India was able to recover from such a severe pandemic despite having limited resources, he said.

Panda said that, today the booster dose is also being administered free of cost. In Delhi also, booster doses are being given free of cost by the central government to those above the age of 18 years. The booster dose drive was launched from July 15 and today, on an average, 15 lakh booster doses are being administered daily in the country, which is a big achievement for India.
