Mohali, 25th Feb: The Mohali unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha organised a protest in Sector 71, alleging that the Congress attempted to tarnish India’s image during an international AI Summit.

The protest was led by district president Milli Garg, with a large number of women members and party workers gathering to express their opposition. Demonstrators raised slogans against the Congress and its senior leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing them of acting against national interests on global platforms.

Party representatives said that creating controversy at international forums harms the country’s reputation and undermines its progress in emerging sectors like artificial intelligence.

Among those present were Mahila Morcha mandal presidents Harshita Chopra, Suman Rana, Anita, Niharika Garg, Surinder Kaur, Anita Joshi, Meenu Shahi, Rajni Chadha, Deepa Arora and Rashi Ayyar. District representatives Rita Singh and Rakhi Pathak, along with other BJP office-bearers, including male leaders, also participated.

The protest concluded with party members reiterating their commitment to safeguarding India’s global standing.
