In a recent survey conducted by Times Now in collaboration with Matrize NC, significant insights into the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections slated for April and May 2024 have emerged, painting a picture of dominance for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

The survey projects a resounding victory for the NDA, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi anticipated to clinch a third term in office.

The survey indicates that the NDA is poised to secure a formidable 366 out of 543 seats in the Lok Sabha, commanding a substantial lead over its rivals. With a predicted vote share of 41.8%, the coalition is expected to sweep the elections, leaving its competitors far behind.

Notably, Uttar Pradesh, with its 80 Lok Sabha seats, is expected to favor the BJP, projecting a significant win of 77 seats, surpassing its 2019 tally. This reinforces the stronghold of the Modi persona in the state, suggesting an unshaken support base.

However, the survey suggests that the NDA might face challenges in Bihar, where it is expected to lose four seats compared to the previous polls.

West Bengal presents a different scenario, with a projected victory for Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, securing 26 out of 42 seats, despite her decision to go solo in the elections.

The survey also provides contrasting insights into South India. While the BJP is anticipated to underperform in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, it is expected to challenge the ruling Congress in Telangana.

In Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, however, the BJP’s influence is projected to be limited, with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress dominating Andhra Pradesh and the INDIA bloc leading in Kerala.

Overall, the survey paints a clear picture of the BJP-led NDA’s dominance in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, with regional variations shaping the electoral landscape across the country.
