Mohali, 24th Feb: As part of the nationwide Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Campaign 2026 launched by the Bharatiya Janata Party, a district-level training programme was organised at Hotel Tulip in Mohali.

The session was chaired by District President Sanjeev Vashisht and witnessed the presence of Punjab BJP General Secretary Parminder Singh Brar as the chief guest.

Addressing party office-bearers, mandal presidents and Mahila Morcha circle heads, Mohali training in-charge Sushil Rana elaborated on key organisational objectives and ideological foundations of the campaign. He emphasised strengthening grassroots coordination and outlined a structured plan to conduct similar training programmes across all mandals in the district in the coming weeks.

Speakers highlighted the importance of ideological clarity, organisational discipline and booth-level strengthening as part of the broader national outreach under the 2026 training initiative.

Party leaders said the programme aims to equip functionaries with a deeper understanding of governance priorities and organisational strategies, while ensuring uniform implementation of party programmes at the district and mandal levels.

The event concluded with a resolution to intensify outreach efforts and expand the training campaign to strengthen party structure ahead of upcoming political engagements in the state.
