Jaipur, 15th Dec.
Ashok Gehlot, the outgoing chief minister of Rajasthan, reached the swearing-in ceremony of the new chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and surprisingly sat next to his ‘rival’ Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

Gehlot has consistently accused Union minister Shekhawat of being involved in the Sanjivani Credit Co-operative Society ‘scam’, while Shekhawat has retaliated by filing a defamation case against Gehlot in Delhi.

Despite their differences, they were seen engaging in conversation while waiting for the oath-taking ceremony to commence.

Gehlot also had a cordial meeting with former leader of the opposition Rajendra Rathore and former deputy leader of the opposition Satish Ponia.

Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje, who was a strong contender for the CM position, was also present on the stage, seated next to Shekhawat.
