Bharat Tex 2024 concentrates on complete textile value chain, taking cues from PM’s 5F Vision

New Delhi, 25th Feb. Bharat Tex 2024, one of the biggest international textile events to be held in the nation, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on February 26 at 10:30 AM at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

The dates of Bharat Tex 2024 are February 26–29, 2024. The event, which covers the whole textile value chain from farm to foreign via fiber, fabric, and fashion, is inspired by the Prime Minister’s 5F Vision. It will demonstrate India’s expertise in the textile industry and solidify its standing as a major player in the world textile market.

Bharat Tex 2024, which is backed by the government and organized by a group of 11 Textile Export Promotion Councils, is based on trade and investment with a primary emphasis on sustainability. Over 65 knowledge sessions featuring over 100 international panelists discussing various issues pertinent to the sector will be held during the four-day event. Along with specialized pavilions focusing on sustainability and circularity, there will be an “Indi Haat,” fashion presentations covering a range of topics like sustainability, global designs, and the history of Indian textiles, as well as interactive fabric testing areas and product demos.

Policymakers, global CEOs, more than 3,500 exhibitors, more than 3,000 buyers from more than 100 countries, and more than 40,000 business visitors are anticipated at Bharat Tex 2024, in addition to textile students, weavers, artisans, and textile workers. It is anticipated that the event will result in the signing of more than 50 memoranda and announcements, which will boost trade and investment in the textile industry and increase exports. It will be yet another crucial move towards realising the Prime Minister’s goals of Viksit and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
