New Delhi, 29th Aug: The Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram will inaugurate the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Bhavan — a Janjati Research and Training Centre — on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Metro Enclave Road, Pushp Vihar, New Delhi.
The new building has been named in honour of the legendary tribal freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda, reflecting the values of sacrifice, resistance, and cultural pride of India’s tribal communities. The centre will serve as a hub for tribal research, leadership training, and social welfare programs to strengthen Janjati society.
Dignitaries to Attend
The event will be graced by several eminent leaders and spiritual figures. RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale will attend as Chief Speaker. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will be the Chief Guest, while Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Union MoS for Tribal Affairs Durga Das Uikey will join as Distinguished Guests.
The blessings of Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Yatindranand Giri Ji Maharaj of Jeevan Deep Ashram, Roorkee, will sanctify the occasion. The program will be presided over by Shri Satyendra Singh, President of Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram. Other senior functionaries including Shri Yogesh Ji Bapat, Shri Vishnu Kant, and Shri Suresh Kulkarni Ji will also be present.
Cultural and Community Participation
The inauguration will also be attended by government officials, educationists, RSS workers, and members of the public from Delhi and neighbouring regions. The program will feature cultural performances, Janjati folk songs, and a community dinner (Prasad).
Centre for Tribal Empowerment
The Bhagwan Birsa Munda Bhavan is envisioned as a centre for:

- Leadership training for tribal youth
- Awareness campaigns to preserve Janjati traditions and cultural identity
