Amaravati, 7th Oct. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, held a review meeting on Covid-19, immunization, and health centres on Wednesday, and instructed authorities to implement the family doctor model across the state by January 26.
During the evaluation, the Chief Minister directed the authorities to concentrate on the family health concept and to acquire the necessary 104 cars to implement it.
In this regard, he requested that they hasten the building of new primary health care centres (PHCs) and village clinics throughout the state to guarantee adequate medical care. Later, he highlighted the creation of health hubs, emphasising the need of people receiving great health care in the state rather than travelling to neighbouring cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, or Chennai.
He directed the authorities to concentrate on bringing hospitals based on the treatments that people need and making such services available in the state.
