Lucknow, 2nd May. As the third phase of Lok Sabha elections approaches on May 7, political campaigning is in full swing across the nation. All major political parties, including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress, are actively engaged in canvassing efforts.
Amidst this campaign frenzy, Union Minister Anurag Thakur has directed sharp criticism towards the Congress party, accusing it of spreading misinformation and attempting to sow doubt.
Thakur alleged that the Congress is resorting to tactics such as spreading rumors, misinformation, and employing various other strategies to manipulate public opinion.
Thakur further asserted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, reservation policies will remain intact and reiterated that the Modi government has consistently upheld the rights of marginalized communities.
He condemned the Congress for allegedly jeopardizing reservation policies in states under its rule, citing instances from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana.
Speaking at an event in Lucknow’s airport, Thakur highlighted the achievements of the Modi government, emphasizing its commitment to inclusive development and the welfare of all sections of society.
He expressed confidence in the people of Uttar Pradesh, urging them to aim for a record-breaking turnout in the upcoming elections.
Thakur also underscored the pivotal role of Uttar Pradesh in national politics, emphasizing the need to disseminate the achievements of the Modi government to every household.
With the election fervor escalating, political rhetoric is expected to intensify further as parties vie for voter support ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.
