Another case been filed against Nupur Sharma in Maharashtra for comments made about the Prophet Mohammad

Nupur Sharma’s reaction to the latest news about Prophet Mohammad is as follows: In connection with her alleged derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammad, Maharashtra’s Beed police have registered a case against suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) functionary Nupur Sharma, an official said on Thursday, June 16.
Similar cases have already been filed against Sharma in Mumbai, Thane, and other Maharashtra cities.

In Beed, who filed a complaint against Nupur Sharma?

According to the official, an advocate, Sayyed Azim, filed a complaint with the Beed police, alleging that Sharma’s comments during a TV debate offended Muslim religious sentiments.

According to the official, Sharma was charged under Indian Penal Code Sections 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) and 505(2) (statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred, or ill-will between classes) on Wednesday (June 15) based on the complaint.
Action taken by the BJP against Nupur Sharma:

The BJP had previously suspended national spokesperson Nupur Sharma and expelled Delhi BJP media head Naveen Kumar Jindal after their alleged derogatory remarks about the Prophet sparked outrage on June 5 (Monday).
