Amrit Udyan Opens for Summer Annuals

President Murmu inaugurates the new edition, which will be open to the public from August 16 with new attractions.

New Delhi, 14th Aug: The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, today inaugurated the Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals Edition, 2025, at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The popular gardens will open to the public from August 16 to September 14, 2025.

During this period, the Udyan will be open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:15 PM. It will remain closed on all Mondays for maintenance. This year’s edition features new attractions, including a “Babbling Brook” water feature that replaces the musical fountain and a tranquil banyan grove with reflexology paths.

Entry to the Udyan is free of cost, but registration is mandatory. Visitors can book their slots online on the Rashtrapati Bhavan website. Walk-in visitors can also register through Self Service Kiosks located outside Gate No. 35, which is the designated entry point for all visitors.

Special access will be granted to athletes and sportspersons on National Sports Day, August 29, and to teachers on September 5 for Teachers’ Day.
