New Delhi, 26th Dec: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah will inaugurate the Anti-Terror Conference on Friday, December 26, in New Delhi. The two-day conference is being organised by the National Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Shaped by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of zero tolerance for terror, the annual conference has emerged as a key platform for developing next-generation strategies to counter evolving and emerging security threats.
The meet will bring together operational forces, technical, legal and forensic experts, and agencies engaged in counter-terrorism to deliberate on national security challenges and threats posed by terrorism.
A major focus of the conference will be on developing synergies among stakeholders by establishing coordinated action mechanisms in the spirit of a whole-of-the-government approach. The discussions are also expected to provide substantive inputs for future policy formulation.
Sessions during the conference will cover evidence collection from foreign jurisdictions, digital forensics, data analysis, effective trial management, countering radicalisation, espionage, hybrid threats, disrupting terror financing networks and building future-ready counter-terror strategies.
Senior police officers from states and union territories, officials from central agencies and domain experts in law, forensics and technology will participate in the conference.
