Ayodhya, 22nd Jan. On the auspicious day of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple, also known as Birla Mandir, in the national capital to offer prayers.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also offered prayers at his residence.
Singh shared a picture on X and wrote, “On this historic day of Pran Pratishtha, I worshipped and offered prayers at home. Jai Shri Ram!”

The idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled at the Ram temple in Ayodhya in the presence of Prime Minister Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Governor Anandi Ben Patel.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister arrived in Ayodhya to participate in the auspicious ceremony.
PM Modi entered the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, holding a silver umbrella on a folded red dupatta.
PM Modi performed rituals at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple.
The ceremony took place in an atmosphere of deep devotion, with devotees and guests chanting Jai Sri Ram. Over 8,000 guests were invited to the ceremony at the grand temple.
Representatives from all major spiritual and religious sects in the country attended the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony. People from various walks of life, including representatives of tribal communities, also attended. The Prime Minister addressed this distinguished gathering on the occasion.
