Noida, 24th Dec. Saurabh Anand, grandson of late Dorilal Agarwal, founder of Amar Ujala, and eldest son of former Chief Editor Anil Agarwal, passed away on Sunday night due to a cardiac arrest. He was 47 and had been residing in Noida for several years.
Saurabh Anand, aged 47, was residing in Noida for several years. Late on Sunday night, he suffered a cardiac arrest and could not be revived despite efforts. His last rites were performed on Monday afternoon in Noida, with close family members, including his uncles Ashok Agarwal and Ajay Agarwal, in attendance.
Saurabh Anand was the eldest among three siblings, including a younger brother and a sister. He had previously lost his mother, Dr. Kamlesh Agarwal, to illness.
On the Monday afternoon, a scholarship program for meritorious differently-abled students was being conducted at the JP Auditorium in Agra in memory of the late Dorilal Agarwal. During the event, retired journalist Sanjay Tiwari, who had been associated with Amar Ujala, informed the organizers of the tragic news. The gathering observed two minutes of silence to mourn the loss of Saurabh Anand.
