The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi has altered its plan to remain closed until 2:30 p.m. due to the Ram Temple event.
In a circular issued on Sunday, the institute stated that its OPD will continue to operate as usual.
In a circular issued on January 21, the hospital administrators declared, “The outpatient department shall remain open to attend to patients with appointments in order to avoid disruption and to facilitate patient care. All important clinical care services will remain operational. All Chiefs of Centres, Heads of Departments, Units, and Branch Officers are requested to bring this to the attention of all people working for them.”
Meanwhile, Delhi government offices will be closed for half a day on January 22 to commemorate the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
The consecration of the Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya will take place on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries in attendance.
According to a Raj Niwas official, Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena has granted a half-day holiday for all Delhi government offices, civic organizations, and other undertakings on January 22 to commemorate the “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony in Ayodhya.
According to a Delhi government officer, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has issued an order to close government offices until 2.30 p.m. on January 22.
