AICC will Shortlist Names of Chhattisgarh LS Candidates in Ten days: Sachin Pilot

Raipur, 28th Jan. The All India Congress Committee will finalize the list of Lok Sabha candidates in Chhattisgarh within 10 days, said senior leader Sachin Pilot.
Pilot, who is in charge of the Congress in Chhattisgarh, made this statement after attending a meeting of the party’s screening committee for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He mentioned that the names of the candidates will be decided by the AICC after discussions, and the announcement will be made soon to allow enough time for campaigning.
Pilot also claimed that the Congress vote share did not decrease in the 2023 Assembly polls compared to the previous edition. Despite the defeat, party workers are prepared for the Lok Sabha polls and plan to raise issues such as price rise, unemployment, and problems faced by women and farmers.
Pilot also discussed Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which will pass through Chhattisgarh, and mentioned that preparations are being made for it.
He emphasized that this yatra will benefit the country, society, party, and everyone. Additionally, the Youth Congress held a working committee meeting on Saturday. In the 2019 polls, the BJP won nine out of 11 Lok Sabha seats, while the Congress won two.
