Administrative Reshuffle in Haryana: 18 IAS Officers Transferred and Posted

Chandigarh, 2nd Jan. The Haryana government has issued transfer and posting orders for 18 IAS officers, effective immediately, according to an official statement.

Amit Kumar Agrawal, who previously served as Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Director General of Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture, and Secretary of the Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department, has been appointed as the Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Project Director of the Chief Minister’s Good Governance, and Managing Director of Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd.

Other IAS officers who have been transferred include Ashima Brar, who will now serve as the new Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, relieving Khetmalis Makarand Pandurang. She will also take on the roles of Director General of Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and Antyodaya (SEWA), as well as Secretary of the Social Justice Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and Antyodaya (SEWA) Department.

Mandip Singh Brar, who previously held the positions of Director General of Mines and Geology, Haryana, and Secretary to the Government of Haryana, Mines and Geology Department, has been appointed as the Director General of Information, Public Relations, Languages, and Culture, Haryana, and Secretary of the Information, Public Relations, Languages, and Culture Department.

Phool Chand Meena, who served as the District Municipal Commissioner of Gurugram, Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, and Chief Executive Officer of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd, replacing Amit Khatri.

Amit Khatri, on the other hand, has been appointed as the Director of Town and Country Planning, Special Secretary of the Town and Country Planning Department, Director of Urban Estates, Director of Archaeology and Museums Haryana, Special Secretary of the Archaeology and Museums Department, and Chief Executive Officer of Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam Ltd. in Panchkula.

Khetmalis Makarand Pandurang, who previously served as the Deputy Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Haryana and Chief Executive Officer of Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam Ltd. in Panchkula, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Haryana State Warehousing Corporation Ltd, Chief Executive Officer of Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority in Panchkula, and Chief Executive Officer of Sonipat Metropolitan Development Authority in Sonipat.
