ACC has approved the appointment several IPS officers in Intelligence Bureau, CBI & NCRB

New Delhi,24th June. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by the Prime Minister has approved the appointment of 15 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers on Tuesday.

Anish Dayal Singh (IPS) has been appointed as Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) on in situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Additional Director held by the officer for a tenure of two from the date of assumption of charge of the post until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is a 1988-batch, Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Manipur cadre and he is currently posted as Additional Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Amitabh Ranjan (IPS) has been appointed as Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) on in situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Additional Director held by the officer for a tenure of two years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Ranjan is a 1988-batch Indian Police Service Officer (IPS) officer of the Tripura cadre. He is currently serving as Additional Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Manoj Kumar Lal (IPS) has been appointed as Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) on in situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Additional Director held by the officer for a tenure of two years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Lal is a 1988-batch, Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the AGMUT cadre. He is currently posted as Additional Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

NK Mishra (IPS) has been as Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) on in situ basis by situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Additional Director held by the officer for a tenure up to his superannuation on January 31, 2022, from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Mishra is a 1988-batch Indian Police Officer (IPS) of Sikkim cadre. He is currently posted as Additional Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Tapan Kumar Deka (IPS) has been appointed as Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) on in situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Additional Director held by the officer for a tenure up to his superannuation on February 28, 2023, from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Deka is a 1988-batch Indian Police Officer (IPS) of Himachal Pradesh. He is currently posted as Additional Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Manmohan Singh (IPS) has been appointed as Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) on in situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Additional Director held by the officer for a tenure of two years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Singh is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Bihar cadre. He is currently posted as Additional Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).
