New Delhi, 19th Sept: A day after Congress MP Rahul Gandhi spoke of a “Gen Z revolution,” the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) swept the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections, winning three of the four seats, including the President’s post.

The lone victory for the Congress-backed National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) came on the Vice President’s seat—secured by a former ABVP activist.

Political observers called the result a sharp reality check for Gandhi, with the polls taking place just a few kilometres from his residence.

ABVP leaders hailed the outcome as proof of strong student support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, contrasting it with what they described as Congress’s “dynastic politics.”
