New Delhi, 12th Jan: India’s first Namo Book Festival will be organised on January 16 and 17, 2026, at the Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi, to celebrate a unique global literary milestone associated with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Modi has emerged as the contemporary world leader on whom the highest number of books have been written globally. More than 400 books documenting his life journey, ideas, leadership and public policies have been published so far — a record that stands out on the global stage.

To familiarise citizens, especially the youth, with this extraordinary achievement and to mark it as an intellectual and cultural celebration, the Council for Media and Public Policy Research (CMPPR) is organising the two-day festival. All major books written on the Prime Minister will be available under one roof for public viewing and purchase at minimal prices. Authors, intellectuals, journalists and young participants will engage in dialogues and discussions on the Prime Minister’s vision, leadership and governance policies.

Ensuring active youth participation, the festival will involve students from 30 colleges and over 200 schools across Delhi. Two flagship programmes will highlight the event.

The first is the Gen V Festival, where India’s first Gen V platform will be launched among more than 800 youth from over 30 colleges. The initiative seeks to present a counter-narrative to the perception that India’s Generation G could weaken the nation’s future. Instead, Gen V represents the youth committed to the vision of a Viksit Bharat — young Indians who stand with the country’s policies and development aspirations.

The second highlight will be the book launch of “Bachchon Ke Mann Ki Baat, Modi Ji Ke Saath.” The book is a curated collection of 75 selected essays written by school children on the impact of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ on their mindset. Over 500 entries were received from across the country, including contributions from Srinagar and even a student from Poland who expressed affection for India. The book will be released in the presence of more than 700 school students during the festival.

The organisers said the festival aims to promote a culture of reading, writing and informed dialogue while celebrating India’s contemporary political literature. CMPPR Director and senior television journalist Ashok Shrivastav has invited educators, youth leaders and citizens to bless the initiative and share guidance to make the festival a success.
