Rajasthan State Commission for Women’s Big Decision: FIR will be Registered Against Women on False Cases of Atrocities

Jaipur, 4th Nov. The Rajasthan State Commission for Women made a significant decision on Wednesday, informing that a FIR will be filed against women on false charges of atrocities. Following the decision, there were several protests from women’s organizations. Women’s rights activists claim that this violates the spirit of going to the police station and filing a complaint.

Rajasthan’s State Commission for Women was established to provide women with justice. The State Commission, on the other hand, will now file cases against women who have filed false harassment claims.

The Women’s Commission identified 418 such cases and directed the concerned Superintendent of Police to take legal action in 60 of them.

The Commission contends that misusing the law in the name of women’s safety will not be tolerated. The women’s organization also stated that the government is being slandered as a result of an increase in the number of unnecessary false cases.

On the other hand, as soon as this statement was made public, women’s organizations began a massive protest.

According to reports, Rajasthan will most likely be the first state in the country to take action against women who have filed false cases under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
