New Delhi, 1st Oct. Brijlal Khabri was named chief of the Congress’s Uttar Pradesh unit on Saturday, according to a party statement.
Sonia Gandhi, the party’s president, also appointed six regional leaders to the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee.
Nasimuddin Siddiqui, Ajai Rai, Virendra Chaudhary, Nakul Dubey, Anil Yadav, and Yogesh Dixit are the regional heads.
