PM Modi Greets Former PM Manmohan Singh on his Birthday

New Delhi, 26^th Sept. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday wished his predecessor Manmohan Singh a happy 90th birthday.

Singh, a well-known economist, served as India’s prime minister from 2004 to 2014, during the Congress-led UPA regime.

He was also India’s finance minister in the P V Narasimha Rao-led government from 1991 to 1996, a watershed moment in the country’s economic history marked by far-reaching reforms.

“Birthday greetings to former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji,” Modi tweeted. I’m hoping for a long and healthy life for him.
