Nitin Gadkari Chairs Meeting with Karnataka CM Bommai, Suggested Ways to Solve Bengaluru’s Traffic Issues

Bengaluru, 9th September. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari chaired a meeting with Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday to discuss ways to alleviate traffic congestion in Bengaluru.
They discussed the ideas proposed by Professional Agencies.
Nitin Gadkari directed state officials to submit proposals for NHAI demands/works and assured the state of MoRTH’s full support.
The Minister also suggested looking into options for building Bus-Ports, Intermodal Stations, and Parking Plazas to alleviate traffic congestion.
MoS General (Retd.) V.K. Singh, State Transport Minister B. Sriramulu, State PWD Minister Shri C.C. Patil, State MPs P.C. Mohan & Tejasvi Surya and Central & State Officials were also present in the meeting.
