In Panchkula, he also presided over a meeting with the party’s state office bearers and district president.

Earlier on Friday, Nadda met with booth workers in Panchkula to empower the party’s booth committee.

He met with the employees of Booth Number 26 at Mata Mansa Devi in Panchkula.

Nadda held extensive discussions with party workers about how to strengthen the booth and its organization.

The meeting was attended by BJP state president Om Prakash Dhankad, state-in-charge Vinod Tawde, MP Ratan Lal Katariya, National spokesperson RP Singh, district in-charge Sanjay Sharma, and District President Ajay Sharma.

JP Nadda was in Tripura earlier this week for a two-day visit ahead of the state’s Assembly elections next year.

Nadda praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “all-round development of Tripura,” saying the government has “put an end to political violence” by creating an “atmosphere of peace.”

He also chastised the previous Communist Party of India (Marxist) government in the northeastern state for “encouraging terrorism and infiltration.”

Nadda also paid floral tributes to Dr Shyamaprasad and Deendayal Upadhyaya’s statues at Tripura University and was greeted by workers from eight mandals.
