NDA’s Presidential Candidate Murmu to Campaign in AP Today

Amaravati, 12th July. Droupadi Murmu, the ruling NDA’s presidential candidate, will campaign in Andhra Pradesh’s capital Amaravati on Tuesday.

She will arrive at the Vijayawada International Airport in Gannavaram at 2.45 p.m. and travel to Mangalagiri to meet with YSR Congress MPs and legislators.

Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister, will later host tea for Murmu at his residence.

The YSRC with 31 MPs and 151 MLAs has pledged its support to Murmu in the presidential election slated for July 18.

The Telugu Desam, which has four MPs and 23 MLAs, has also announced its support for the NDA nominee.

The Jana Sena’s lone MLA, who has virtually defected to the YSRC, will also vote.

In effect, Murmu will receive all votes from Andhra Pradesh.
