Ties and tides relations and relationship are the synonyms what we know about the relation between India and Nepal. Needless to say this relation dates back to centuries and cannot be only seen through narrow lens of current geopolitical situations.. There is much more than a human bond with Nepal this is civilizational bond and blood bond the tails dates back to Ramayana era.

This along with the might of Mount Everest and most tricky and dangerous airport of the world lukla puts Nepal on the global tourist Map. This is where the tango begins free flow of money happens and makes some pockets of political circles ambitious and greedy . In todays times we have seen the rise of China and with its infamous debt trap diplomacy as a potent weapon for economic aggression if not terrorism . Chinese money is simply kiss of death. When we see around Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Tajkistan , Pakistan and recently of all Sri Lanka this send a chill down the spine.
Nepal has been with the previous regime under strong Chinese influence as they managed to get two warring communist factions under one roof and one alliance There is a talk in world diplomatic circles that Chines Ambassador to Nepal is / was more influential than the PM of Nepal the lady has notorious reputation of going around in private Taxis for some high profile private meeting in Nepal believe it of not as a Ambassador ?.
China has a rail link terminating in Kathmandu and will have there is a active ISI working network operational in Nepal, lets not forget IC 814 what all happened is history now. The change of guard after a mountain of hard work and efforts have shown the results when Nepal PM came to India and went to BJP’s HQ in Delhi on a state visit this signals a very strong affiliation at political and personal level and I may say saffron alliance which is color of Hinduism. The message has been direct and discreet to China and Next days visit to Kal Bahrav temple along with Yogi Adityanath ji in Varanasi was cheery on the cake .
A new dawn , a brother is back , relation is bold and brazen, optics are explicit somebody rightly said and correctly so “Blood is thicker than water”.
