6th Anniversary of Stand-Up India: PM Modi Highlights Country’s Entrepreneurial Energy

New Delhi, 5th April. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday called the Stand Up India initiative a part of the ongoing efforts to channelise India’s entrepreneurial energy.
As Stand Up India initiative turned 6 years old today, PM Modi said, “India is full of entrepreneurial energy and the Stand Up India initiative is a part of the ongoing efforts to channelise this spirit to further progress and prosperity”
The scheme was launched by the central government on 5th April 2016 to encourage entrepreneurship at grassroot level to foster economic empowerment and job creation, especially among SC, ST and women entrepreneurs.
