CPI and CPI(M) leaders met KCR

Hyderabad, 9th Jan. On Saturday, leaders of the Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) met with Telangana State Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

The idea of a “BJP mukht Bharat” was floated by the Left parties during the meeting, according to the New Indian Express.

Separate meetings with CPI(M) and CPI leaders were held by KCR. Party general secretary D Raja, Rajya Sabha member Binoy Viswam, CPI Telangana state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy, and other party leaders were among those who met with Rao.

Sitaram Yechury, the CPI(M) General Secretary, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, former Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, and others were among the CPI(M) delegation.

The TRS has criticised the central government’s policies.
