Former Rajya Sabha MP and Senior Journalist Chandan Mitra Passed Away, PM Modi Expressed Grief

New Delhi, 2nd Sep. Senior Journalist and former Rajya Sabha MP Dr Chandan Mitra passed away late on Wednesday night.
Rajya Sabha MP and BJP leader Swapan Dasgupta informed about his demise. He tweeted, ‘I lost my closest friend – Pioneer editor and former MP Chandan Mitra this morning. We were together as students at La Martiniere and went to St Stephen’s and Oxford. We joined journalism at the same time and shared the enthusiasm of Ayodhya and the saffron wave.
