Bangkok, 25th March: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Association Thailand celebrated the auspicious occasion of Hindu Navavarsha with great enthusiasm at Saraff Sadan in Bangkok, drawing participation from over 200 attendees.

The event brought together members of the Indian diaspora and local community, reflecting a spirit of cultural unity and shared heritage.

The समारोह began on a spiritual note with Shankhanaad (conch blowing) and Pradeep Prajjwalan (lamp lighting), symbolising the invocation of positivity and the triumph of light over darkness.

The highlight of the programme was a keynote address by Swami Vigyananand, Joint General Secretary of VHP Bharat and founder of the World Hindu Foundation. An alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, he spoke on his book “Hindu, Hindutva and the Hindu Manifesto”, presenting a vision of Hindu identity rooted in inclusivity, cultural confidence, and global unity.

Participants described the event as a meaningful celebration of tradition and values, reinforcing cultural connections among the Hindu community in Thailand.
