New Delhi, 1st March: Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia will represent India at the Mobile World Congress 2026 scheduled from March 2 to March 5 in Barcelona, Spain, one of the world’s largest technology and telecommunications forums.

During his visit, the Minister will inaugurate the Bharat Pavilion, offering a global platform to showcase India’s expanding telecom manufacturing ecosystem and digital innovation landscape. He will also unveil the curtain raiser for India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026, projecting India’s flagship digital technology event on the global stage.

Scindia is set to address the GSMA Ministerial Programme at the Main Stage session titled “Built for What’s Next,” focusing on future-ready digital infrastructure and emerging technology frameworks. He will also deliver the closing keynote at the Ministerial Stage on “Breaking the Cost Barrier,” highlighting affordable and inclusive connectivity models.

As part of his engagements, the Minister will participate in high-level bilateral meetings and strategic discussions with global telecom stakeholders. He is also scheduled to interact with global CEOs at a special dinner hosted by India to strengthen collaborative innovation and trusted partnerships.

Scindia will visit technology booths of leading global and Indian firms and attend the launch of the T31600-D3 Hyper-scalable DCI Platform at the Tejas Networks pavilion, marking progress in India’s advanced telecom product development.

The participation at MWC 2026 is aimed at deepening international cooperation, attracting investments, and reinforcing India’s position as a key player in shaping secure, inclusive and future-ready digital networks worldwide.
