New Delhi, 28th Feb: The 6th India–UK Home Affairs Dialogue (HAD) was held in New Delhi on Friday, with both sides reviewing ongoing cooperation and identifying new areas for proactive engagement in counter-terrorism and organised crime.

The Indian delegation was led by Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Secretary (Border Management), while the UK side was headed by Simon Ridley, Second Permanent Secretary at the UK Home Office. Senior officials from both countries attended the meeting.

Discussions covered counter-terror efforts, including concerns related to Pro-Khalistani extremists and activities of anti-India groups in the UK. Drug trafficking, migration, criminal justice cooperation and cyber security also figured prominently.

India highlighted concerns over breaches in the security of its dignitaries and diplomatic missions in the UK, underscoring the need for stronger safeguards.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation and agreed to maintain momentum in enhancing bilateral security engagement.
