New Delhi, 27th Feb: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid heartfelt tributes to legendary freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad on his martyrdom day, remembering his supreme sacrifice for India’s independence.

The Prime Minister said Azad devoted his entire life to freeing the nation from the shackles of colonial rule and would always be remembered for his courage and patriotism.

Reflecting on Azad’s legacy, the Prime Minister noted that his life exemplifies unwavering resolve against injustice and defines true bravery. He said the saga of Azad’s sacrifice would continue to inspire generations committed to national service.

In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister offered respectful homage and highlighted a Sanskrit subhashitam underscoring the virtue of valor. The verse emphasised that bravery stands above all in the three worlds and remains the foundation that protects and sustains society.
