New Delhi, 26th Feb: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid heartfelt tributes to Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, popularly known as Veer Savarkar, on his Punya Tithi.
Remembering the revolutionary leader, the Prime Minister said Savarkar dedicated his entire life to liberating the nation from colonial rule. He noted that Savarkar’s courage, vision and commitment to national service remain a source of inspiration for generations.
In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister described Savarkar as a great revolutionary who devoted his life to freeing the country from the chains of slavery. He added that Savarkar’s personality and contributions would continue to motivate every generation to serve the nation.
Veer Savarkar played a prominent role in India’s freedom movement and is remembered for his writings, nationalist thought and enduring legacy in public life.
