New Delhi, 24th Feb: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Rob Jetten on assuming office as the Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
In a message shared on X, Modi highlighted the extensive and multi-sectoral relationship between India and the Netherlands, describing it as a strong and evolving partnership.
“Congratulations Mr. Rob Jetten on assuming office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. India and the Netherlands share an extensive relationship across diverse sectors. I look forward to working closely with you to add further momentum to the growing ties between our two countries and people,” the Prime Minister wrote.
India and the Netherlands cooperate in areas including trade and investment, water management, agriculture, innovation, renewable energy and people-to-people exchanges.
With the new leadership in The Hague, New Delhi signalled its intent to further expand strategic and economic engagement, reinforcing the growing partnership between the two democracies.
