New Delhi, 21st Feb: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Pu Vungzagin Valte, remembering him as a dedicated public servant who worked tirelessly for the welfare of Manipur.

In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister said Valte would be remembered for his outstanding service to the people of the state. He noted that Valte consistently strived to bring positive change in society and that his contributions in the Assembly were marked by insight and clarity.

“Pu Vungzagin Valte will be remembered for his outstanding service to the people of Manipur. He worked diligently towards bringing a positive difference in society. His interventions in the assembly were always insightful. Pained by his passing. Condolences to his family, friends and supporters,” the Prime Minister wrote.
