New Delhi, 16th Feb: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan on Monday extended his best wishes for the India AI Impact Summit being held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, highlighting India’s leadership in shaping a people-first and democratic artificial intelligence future.
In a social media post, the Vice President said the vision is reflected in the summit’s theme, “Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya,” which emphasises the use of AI for the welfare and happiness of all.
He underlined that India’s approach to artificial intelligence places public good, accessibility, and global cooperation at the centre of technological development. According to him, this approach seeks to bridge the technological strengths of the Global North with the scale and potential of the Global South to ensure inclusive and shared progress.
Recalling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks at the AI Action Summit in Paris last year, the Vice President quoted that while some fear machines becoming superior to humans, the future remains in human hands. He stressed that AI must remain human-centric and guided by responsibility.
Radhakrishnan concluded by wishing the India AI Impact Summit grand success.
