New Delhi, 14th Feb: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday shared glimpses from the inaugural event of Seva Teerth and Kartavya Bhavan-1 and 2 in the national capital, announcing a series of key decisions aimed at welfare, agriculture, women empowerment, and startups.
In a series of social media posts, the Prime Minister said Seva Teerth had been dedicated to the nation with the spirit of “Nagrikdevo Bhava,” and would stand as a symbol of duty, compassion, and commitment to the principle of India First.
He said the new complex should inspire generations to follow the path of selfless service and work for the welfare of all.
Modi also said that he signed several files at Seva Teerth connected with the empowerment of the poor, farmers, youth, and women.
Among the key decisions was the approval of the PM RAHAT scheme, under which accident victims will receive cashless treatment of up to ₹1.5 lakh to ensure immediate medical assistance.
The government also approved doubling the target of the Lakhpati Didi scheme to six crore women, aimed at promoting financial independence and self-reliance.
In the agriculture sector, the target of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund has been increased from ₹1 lakh crore to ₹2 lakh crore to boost farm incomes and infrastructure.
The Prime Minister also approved the Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 with a corpus of ₹10,000 crore to support early-stage startups and deep-tech research.
